Your Phone Messages: Emailed, sent via SMS and stored in your account

We don’t send your messages this way

If you sign up for one of the following phone services; Office Answer, Answer 24/7 or Answer & Patch, we will forward on any phone messages we take for you.

These messages are sent to you:

• Via email, or
• Via SMS

It’s totally up to you.

And just in case you accidentally delete the email or text message (like we all do from time to time), the message is also stored in your dashboard. To locate your messages:

Sign in > Select “My Messages” > Select “My Phone Messages”

You can then view a log that details all the messages we’ve taken for you.

Well here you go:

If you sign up for Holiday Cover Plus, Office Answer, Answer 24/7 or Answer & Patch, we will answer your calls in the following way:

“Good afternoon/morning/evening, your company name, how may I help?”

If on the Holiday Cover Plus, Office Answer or Answer 24/7, we’ll then take a message. If on the Answer & Patch, we’ll then forward the call onto you.

If on Holiday Cover Basic we will answer your calls in the following way:

“Good afternoon/morning/evening, reception, how may I help?”

We will then take a message.

Need someone to sign for your mail? We can help.

We’ll sign for your mail

“Dear XXXX, we tried to deliver an item of mail to you today but you weren’t in. Please call the below number to re-arrange delivery”

Don’t you just hate those notes? We certainly do. Well now there’s something you can do about it.

With our Mail Forwarding Services, we will sign for any of your mail that is delivered to our address and requires a signature. How we then handle this mail is up to you. We can:

• Hold it for you until you can collect it
• Send it on via Royal Mail Special Delivery
• Send it on via Royal Mail First Class

Put an end to missing “signature required” mail and sign up for a Mail Forwarding Service!

The Postage Deposit Explained

Mail Forwarding Postage Deposit Explained

When you sign up for any of our Mail Forwarding Services, on top of the advance service payment we also take a £20 postage deposit.

So what is this for?

2 things:

• If you collect your mail or have it forwarded, we charge a 10p handling charge per letter (there is a £2.50 handling charge for parcels). If your mail is scanned we charge a 50p handling charge. These charges are knocked off of your deposit.

• If your mail is forwarded, we knock the Royal Mail fee for posting off of your deposit.

The length of time that your deposit lasts depends on how much mail you receive, how it is handled (forwarded, scanned or collected) and where we forward it to if forwarded.

When your postage deposit falls below £5.00 we’ll send an email requesting that you top it up.
