We believe that it is extremely important that we deliver a secure service which does not only protect us but will guarantee protection for you and your company. Therefore, we have made it compulsory for ID and proof of address to be validated by a professional body before an account can be activated.
Here’s how it works…
After making payment and completing your account details, you will have to upload your ID and proof of address. Depending on where you are from and where you are based, these documents may need to be notarised or certified:
UK Documents such as a UK passport and a UK proof of address – Do not need to be certified or notarised. We reserve the right to request certified/notarised documents if we deem it necessary.
EU documents such as a French passport and French proof of address – Need to be certified.
Rest of the world documents such as a South African passport and a South African proof of address – Need to be notarised.
Mixed documents (such as a French passport and a South African proof of address) – The French passport would need to be certified, the South African proof of address would need to be notarised. UK documents do not need to be certified or notarised (we reserve the right to request certified/notarised documents if we deem it necessary).
Notarised and Certified?
For documents to be notarised you will have to visit your embassy or a lawyer who is eligible to notarise documents
For documents to be certified you can visit an accountant, solicitor, doctor or police officer.
Having documents notarised and certified can have a price, so please check which category you are in via the links below before getting documents validated.
